Date night outfit feat. Dresslink

Hey guys!

It’s time for the last Dresslink post for now. As I wrote in the last post I got a dress from them as well. Since it’s Saturday I thought I’d share it as some inspiration for a date night look.

I’m still working on getting comfortable with these full figure shots. I still have a long way to go, but at least this time I didn’t delete as many pictures right away as I usually do. The clothes are great, but I think the most I have to thank Dresslink for is the fact that the opportunity to work with them made me get in front of the camera starting to take outfit pictures, without it being a “phone/camera in the hand in front of a mirror”-picture.

Dresslink Dress

This dress was slightly big for me, but nothing two pieces of Hollywood Fashion Tape in the neckline couldn’t fix. (If you don’t own this wonderful invention you should get running for it immediately after reading this post. It’s a double sided tape that doesn’t affect fabric and skin, and is perfect for deep cleavages, hiding bra straps and a lot more)

This dress is just the type of dresses I love. A bit of cleavage, which slims the body a bit if you have big breasts. It’s tight enough to show the curves, but draped nicely to hide a bit of the tummy. I also love the asymmetrical skirt. I haven’t really fallen for the midi skirt trend yet, but as this dress is a bit shorter on one side I like it anyway.

The dress can be found here, for only $6,04 at the moment.

On the pictures I’ m wearing it with flat ballerinas from Primark and an old bolero from Gina Tricot, that is an absolute favorite. It’s very thin and works great with every dress if you just want to cover up your arms a bit.

For makeup I chose a very soft smokey eye and a berry lipstick to add a bit of colour and some autumn feelings.

On Monday I’m going to Paris with Martin for a short trip. I will schedule a post to come up while I’m gone. In that post I’ll tell you about something I’ve been up to lately and share something that inspires me while I do what I do.

What do you think of the outfit posts I’ve been doing lately? Would you like to see more of these?

* This dress was sent to me by Dresslink but all opinions are my own and true to my experience.

Gina Tricot Nail Polish

I’ve finally tried the nail polish I got the other day. I really like how it looks, but I must say it wasn’t easy to get it there. The brush tends to swipe of the dots so it was quite a challenge to make them stay. Since the dots are swiped away when you try to even the polish the layers get kind of thick. This means it takes forever to dry!

Basically, this is not an everyday polish. But with some time an patience it’s not to bad!

What do you think? Good enough to accept the challenge every now and then?

I would say YES!

Outfit of the day

The sun is shining, I have the weekend of and today my favorite football team in the whole world is playing today. I woke up before the alarm clock and felt more alert and happier than I can remember doing in a really long time. And I’ve been feeling great lately, so I can’t even believe the joy and the happy feelings running around in my body right now.

I’m soon to leave the house to go see the game and tonight two of my best friends are coming for some dinner and movies. This day has all the opportunities to be awesome!

The other outfits I’ve shown you in this blog has been for work, so I thought I should take a picture of what I’m wearing today, when I don’t have to dress up. Just a simple and comfortable outfit for everyday life.

Jeans from Gina Tricot. The sweater was a Christmas gift from my brother, but I think it is from JC.

I just couldn’t help it…

I have a day of from work, so me and my sister went to the city. I was going to pick up my season ticket for football (or soccer if you prefer that, but I’ll stick to using football). Picking up that little card, with all the expectations it brings, is one of the best days of the year for me. Almost like Christmas!

When that was done we went to have some lunch and then do some shopping. I had decided to buy the lip scrub from Lush. We don’t have Lush at the shopping center where I work, so I don’t get the opportunity to go there very often. Guess what they told me when I got there? “They are sold out, but we’ll get new ones tomorrow.” Imagine the disappointment! How can they not have a single one? I would have taken any taste! Hope I can find some time to go back soon!

I wasn’t supposed to buy anything else, but as usual I couldn’t keep my fingers away from some things. And when I think about it, I really needed new jeans, so I had a good reason. At least for one of the things I got.

The shoes are from Din Sko (Swedish shoe store) Everything else is from Gina Tricot. The socks were a free gift since I’m half way through a stamp card. Check out the closeup on the nail polish! Isn’t it awesome?

Outfit of the day

The outfit of  the day posts seems quite popular. Both post have sailed up to the top on the view list. So, here we go again!

Today I’m wearing a lace skirt from JC, a golden tank top from Gina Tricot. That top can be the oldest garment in my closet, but after 8 years (I think. I know I wore it on a school photo) I still love it, so it will hang on for a while longer. The cardigan is from Primark, and one of the most used garment in the closet. Tights 120 den. Necklace from Topshop (check out the OOTD-post from yesterday for a closeup)

Now; Time to run of to work!
