Date night outfit feat. Dresslink

Hey guys!

It’s time for the last Dresslink post for now. As I wrote in the last post I got a dress from them as well. Since it’s Saturday I thought I’d share it as some inspiration for a date night look.

I’m still working on getting comfortable with these full figure shots. I still have a long way to go, but at least this time I didn’t delete as many pictures right away as I usually do. The clothes are great, but I think the most I have to thank Dresslink for is the fact that the opportunity to work with them made me get in front of the camera starting to take outfit pictures, without it being a “phone/camera in the hand in front of a mirror”-picture.

Dresslink Dress

This dress was slightly big for me, but nothing two pieces of Hollywood Fashion Tape in the neckline couldn’t fix. (If you don’t own this wonderful invention you should get running for it immediately after reading this post. It’s a double sided tape that doesn’t affect fabric and skin, and is perfect for deep cleavages, hiding bra straps and a lot more)

This dress is just the type of dresses I love. A bit of cleavage, which slims the body a bit if you have big breasts. It’s tight enough to show the curves, but draped nicely to hide a bit of the tummy. I also love the asymmetrical skirt. I haven’t really fallen for the midi skirt trend yet, but as this dress is a bit shorter on one side I like it anyway.

The dress can be found here, for only $6,04 at the moment.

On the pictures I’ m wearing it with flat ballerinas from Primark and an old bolero from Gina Tricot, that is an absolute favorite. It’s very thin and works great with every dress if you just want to cover up your arms a bit.

For makeup I chose a very soft smokey eye and a berry lipstick to add a bit of colour and some autumn feelings.

On Monday I’m going to Paris with Martin for a short trip. I will schedule a post to come up while I’m gone. In that post I’ll tell you about something I’ve been up to lately and share something that inspires me while I do what I do.

What do you think of the outfit posts I’ve been doing lately? Would you like to see more of these?

* This dress was sent to me by Dresslink but all opinions are my own and true to my experience.

Outfit of the day

It’s my time of the year again! Even though I long for every season of the year when it’s about to change, I must say I’m defiantly a fall girl. I love when it’s a bit chilly outside, and I can stay in for a cup of tea and light candles, or dress up in a scarf and jacket and go outside for a walk without getting to warm. And when it comes to clothes this is also my time of the year. Our store is quite cold, so the whole summer I’ve had to put clothes on when I get in, and take it off when I go out. Now it’s the other way around, as it’s supposed to be. The colours now are more my cup of tea as well.

When I was sick last week I treated myself to internet shopping and a new dress for the season to come. It arrived the other day, and I found it to be perfect with the new tights from work. I also got to use one of my favorite nail polishes, that has been a bit to dark for summer.

Dress – Anna Field, Cardigan – Primark, Tights- Twilfit, Nail polish – IsaDora Sugar Nails 108 Wine Crush

Outfit of the day

The sun is shining, I have the weekend of and today my favorite football team in the whole world is playing today. I woke up before the alarm clock and felt more alert and happier than I can remember doing in a really long time. And I’ve been feeling great lately, so I can’t even believe the joy and the happy feelings running around in my body right now.

I’m soon to leave the house to go see the game and tonight two of my best friends are coming for some dinner and movies. This day has all the opportunities to be awesome!

The other outfits I’ve shown you in this blog has been for work, so I thought I should take a picture of what I’m wearing today, when I don’t have to dress up. Just a simple and comfortable outfit for everyday life.

Jeans from Gina Tricot. The sweater was a Christmas gift from my brother, but I think it is from JC.

First March outfit

March is here! For me, that means spring. The weather is not so inspiring at the moment though, so I’ll stick with black and white for today as well. I did buy another nail polish that yells spring though, which I will probably fix as soon as I get home from work today. Spent the night out with my best friend last night, so there wasn’t really time for painting nails then. Must admit I am a bit tired today!

Anyhow. Spring is coming. I’ll be working all day. No matter how tired I am, I had to get dressed today too.

Today I’m wearing a skirt from Bubbleroom that I bought before the work meeting this Thursday. The tank top is the one from Hanro that I wrote about this week as well. Cardigan from Primark, same as yesterday. For hosiery I’m wearing Falke Pure Shine 15 den. (I’ve scheduled a post about tights that will be posted later today, with my thoughts on how to pick the right ones in the jungle of hosiery)

The necklace was one of the first “real” ones that I got. I inherited it from my Grandmother and remember I was told I should be careful, but use it well. Think I was about 5 years old. It’s a silver necklace with red amber, and I still find it very beautiful.

Outfit of the day

The outfit of  the day posts seems quite popular. Both post have sailed up to the top on the view list. So, here we go again!

Today I’m wearing a lace skirt from JC, a golden tank top from Gina Tricot. That top can be the oldest garment in my closet, but after 8 years (I think. I know I wore it on a school photo) I still love it, so it will hang on for a while longer. The cardigan is from Primark, and one of the most used garment in the closet. Tights 120 den. Necklace from Topshop (check out the OOTD-post from yesterday for a closeup)

Now; Time to run of to work!

Outfit of the day

Before I run of to take the bus to that meeting, I thought I’d show today’s outfit.

Today I’m wearing a fine knitted sweater from Primark. I have never been a fan of red, but I really fell for the wine shade. The skirt is my very much used from H&M. It just works to everything. The tights I bought at work this fall, and they are not in store anymore. Ring and necklace is from Topshop and the bracelets I made myself. I will share a post about the nail polish tomorrow.

(Watching these photos I notice someone should clean their mirror)

Outfit of the day

Hey there!
Productive day so far. Meeting at work in the morning (will tell you more about this tonight), got home and took a PW, cleaned all my makeup brushes and now I’m waiting for my lunch to get ready before I need to go back to work for the night shift. Amazed I even have time for blogging! Guess this is what happens when you learn to get up early in the morning.
Thought I would show you my outfit of the day, which I like quite a lot. Sweater from Topshop (the one that I bought the other day), my most used skirt from H&M, 80 den tights from DIM (new brand in our store that I’m getting to know). Love the red nails to ad a touch of colour.

Good morning!

So yesterday was a busy day. Went up quite early, called the insurance company about a bill I got for something I never signed up for. Apparently I got a letter a few month ago telling me to contact them if I wasn’t interested in the offer. I don’t really like when they do it that way. If I AM interested, then I’ll contact them. That’s how I think it should work. They cancelled it and promised I didn’t have to pay, so that’s over now.

As soon as that was done I went to meet my best friend one last time before we both go on our trips and adventures. She will be working as a show artist for a travelling company, so she will be abroad for a few months (we don’t know where yet). I know time will run away and it won’t seem that long, but it’s always a bit sad when you know for sure you won’t see each other for a while. Hopefully I will be able to visit her for a few days later on. Keep your fingers crossed!

When we had had our lunch it was time for me to go to work for a few hours. I came to a really messy store and two colleagues that was recovering from some panic. New week and new month means a lot of work, and on top of that we had huge deliveries! I’m going in a few hours earlier today to help get everything straighten up.

Today will bring work, and hopefully I will get a few things done for the trip. One of my colleagues were kind enough to switch time with me tomorrow so I will get home a few hours earlier to do all the last minute things.

Outfit of the day. Pants from H&M, top from JC.
Close up on the necklace. My favorite! (from e-bay)
